Osengas came to dinner for the 4th of July. Last year we were able to see the Lawrenceville City fireworks from the front of our house, but this year (because of the economy) they did not have them. So we wouldn't be disappointed, Darryl brought fireworks to enjoy. Alexis and Alden had their chance at lighting them, and we all enjoyed the explosions!

Jayda Breaks Arm

Jayda's gymnastics proved a little dangerous when she broke her arm. The good news is that she got a bright green cast and had everyone sign it. Surprising to Grandma and Grandpa was the fact that they now make them waterproof, and she was able to swim and shower without protection. What's the world coming to!?! It didn't even keep her from going to Wal-Mart with the rest of us when Grandma and Grandpa were babysitting.

Will Has Operation

Will had a urinary tract infection several months ago, and when Amy took him to the doctor, she found out that the plumbing was messed up and that he would have to have an operation when he got a little older. On June 29, he was operated on to keep his urine from backing up into the kidney and causing more problems. The operation went well, but he was so young it was hard to keep him happy while he recovered. J.J. was really good to keep us posted with e-mails and pictures. He looks like he was a real trooper as long as his Mom was nearby! We're glad he's better now and all set for the future.

Baxter Helps Dad Recuperate

When Grandpa came home from the hospital, he and Baxter set about getting him rehabilitated. He and Baxter slept in his chair, and then Baxter took him to the park to feed the ducks. Dad enjoyed the chance to walk without pain, and Baxter enjoyed chasing the ducks.
