Alexis' Young Women's group hosted a dinner-dance as a money-maker for her camp this summer. Osenga's Stake put it on, and they served Mexican food (tacos and burritos) and had dancing. Grandpa and Grandma went with Stacy and her kids. Osengas were there, of course, and Carolyn came. The kids ate separately from the adults, but then the kids were able to do some dancing before they left. Jocelyn, Brielle, Cordell and Ronan had a ball, and Malia was out there trying to mimic the adults dancing. It was really cute! Grandma and Grandpa enjoyed watching them!

Brielle Loves Grandma's House
Brielle and Ronan have Spanish classes near Grandma's house on Mondays and Thursdays. On Mondays, Stacy, Ronan, Brielle and Malia come to eat dinner with Grandma and Grandpa. It's really fun to have that time to be with them. Ronan usually plays video games (either in Tony's room or Grandma's room) and Brielle does the dishes until dinner is done. After dinner, Brielle likes for Grandma to play "babies" with her. One day Grandma was talking with Stacy and Grandpa and didn't get to play before they had to leave. When Brielle was telling Grandma goodbye, she said, "I'm sorry I didn't get to play babies with you today, Grandma!" What a sweetie!

Will Needs to Have Operation
Will went to the doctor for an infection, and they found out he has a problem with his urine backing up into his kidneys. He has to have a few more tests, but it seems that an operation will have to be performed to be able to correct the problem. He's such a good baby and we hate to see him go through the operation, but Amy says they're grateful that it is something that can be corrected, and he's in no pain with it for the time being. We'll keep you updated!

Mom Plays Solo in Church
On January 11, 2009, Mom played a piano solo of How Great Thou Art in Church. Dad invited all the kids to come, and the older four were there with their children. It was more nerve-wracking for Mom, but she loved that everyone made an effort to support her in her efforts. Afterward, we went to Stevie B's for lunch and some conversation. Thanks, guys!
